choose the right video card

hello there
i want to buy a new hd videocard to play my hd (bluray ,m2ts) movies on my tv through my pc. i know there r many different types. my question is .. would be a huge different in terms of quality between the cheap video card and the expensive ones when it comes to play hd movies only ?? cuz i know the expensive ones r mostly used for video games and honstly i dont need to play games. so if i buy a cheap one (512mb or 1gb) would i have a noticeable low quality than if i buy an expensive one ??. note that both cheap and expensive ones transmit 1080p resolution

No. From about US$60 on up they'll all look the same (setup problems aside).
