    Hi,

My ISP have provided me with an ip which doesn't change.

I did ask my ISP if they could change the ip and they said no.

I was wondering if there's a way to change the ip myself by changing the last 4 digits or whatever or change it to dynamic somehow?

    Or is this not possible?

    Thank you.

Well for some reason some site is denying me access and i have no idea why! I can only put it down to my ip being banned but even still i have no idea why this would have happened as i haven't been in anyway disruptive or abusive.

The likelihood is that the whole range or subnet associated with the ISP in question is being blocked by the website in question (due to someone or action totally unrelated to yourself). It has happened to me before.

So i expect you are out of luck even if they could change the IP for you - so a proxy is the way forward.
