    Most BluRay players cannot be made region free so you need to ask this question BEFORE you buy, not after.

    Well, thanks for your help.
    The reason I double-posted was because it is my first time on this site, first post actually, and after I'd posted I couldn't see my post on the index, so I thought I'd forgotten to press 'send' on my new topic. So I posted on another thread. Now I know how to navigate the site I realise my mistake.
