I have heard that there is a way to burn my Divx files or tmpg created VCD (MPEG-1) in to SCVD format which will play on a DVD player which supports VCD only.

If you have done it and have some specifics, PLEASE share them with me.

I have used virtualdub, TMPG, toolame and Nero to burn my VCDs. Somehow , I believe there is some "trick" to output SVCD to play on VCD complient DVD platers.

    Thanks, :D

That is sooooo cool and sooooo simple I'll give it a try !!

One more quick question, converted some Divx5.0, .avi files to MPEG-1 using videodub, tooLAME and TPMGEnc.

What is th e best way to convert these MPEG-1 files to MPEG-2 (SCVD). I need to do that first, then put the header back to VCD as the instructions say.

I assume that after the create the SVCD file with the VCD header, I burn it in Nero as a VCD.

Thanks for your help nad patience. :D
