Hello,
I frequently need to use Handbrake or Mactheripper to rip video from copy protected DVD's to reorganize the media. These programs seem to only output MP4 files. When i try to burn the MP4's to DVD or convert them to MPEG2, it takes like 9 hours to convert 2 hrs of video on a fast Mac Pro. How come? Is there a faster way? I think the MP4 video is a larger, widescreen format. Is that why it takes so long. PLEASE HELP!

MTR should be able to rip to a DVD Video format (essentially just copying the files, now minus copy protection) so all you have to do is burn the results to a new disc. Using handbrake to do this means converting the files using a lossy format, then converting them again, using another lossy format, back to mpeg-2 and authoring a DVD. The result is much time and quality lost, and nothing at all gained. Learn how to use MTR correctly instead.
