Ok here is the situation. All of my computers have Win 7. One of them I setup to be my server. I put all my .mkv files into the video folder and when i open windows media player i see some of them under video and some under other media. This is my first problem. 2nd the mkv's play fine after i downloaded the divx codec on my server machine. If I go to any of my other computers and open up win media player and go to the server library the mkvs don't show up properly and I am unable to play them. and yes I downloaded the codecs for all of the machines. Also if I go directly to the folder via network route i see the mkvs and they play but i get no sound. any any help would be appreciated thanks.
