  1. I recently purchased Inception with Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy. I have downloaded both the PC and portable versions of the digital copy, both of which play on my computer just fine. However, when I attempt to put the portable version onto my Evo 4g, it says that a license is required and will not play. Please help me out, the digital copy is the reason I bought the movie.

  2. How did you "put the portable version" on your phone? Just copied the file? I think you have to use itunes or WMP to transfer the file and license.

BaltimoreRavens - Digital copies often have expirations in the license so you will very likely find out that even if you follow jagabo's instructions that a few months from now you will not be able to watch the movie again on your Evo. I wouldn't buy anything just to get a digital copy. Hollywood always finds a way to screw the consumer, even if you try to play by the rules.

Unfortunately, the digital copy is infected/infested with DRM and jman98 is probably right; if you can get it to work at all, it might stop in the future.

    That's the bad news...

The good news is that this forum is full of tutorials and freeware applications that will allow you to exercise your fair-use rights and produce your own, beautifully DRM-free, copy of the movie you just purchased that will work on your Evo.
