Have a VOB File that was created thru ConvertXToDVD and the audio is Mixed up together [ Cantonese & Mandarin], when I tested and played it with VLC, before burning.
How do Ii just have the Cantonese audio, and I am afraid that I have NO way of adjusting the audio on my DVD player once I burn that VOB file onto a DVD.?

Possibly you have one language in the left channel, and another in the right. This is a common way that Chinese VCDs are made, when only one stereo soundtrack is allowed.
So you may be able to adjust that so you only hear only one channel when you play it.
Otherwise, you'll need to go back to your source file and delete or split one audio track.
I don't know ConvertX, so can't say if you can fix it there.
You can do this with most videos by extracting and splitting the audio with Audacity. -
Usually in my "old" XP VAIO Sony PC, I can Right click on the Vol. Tray Icon,in the Taskbar and move the slider in the Vol. control to the Left, and I get the Cantonese Audio.
Now with my windows 7 version, I don't seem to be able to do it, I hear the Mix up audio of the Cantonese and Mandarin together.
The source File are in RMVB, most Hong Kong videos, so, Ineed to split the Audio with Audacity before encoding them in ConvertXtoDVD? -
I don't know if ConvertXtoDVD will let you choose an external audio file. If it does, try opening the RMVB with Audacity; the latest version can extract audio from most kinds of files, then split the stereo track and save the single track you want as a wave.
However, RMVB is a tricky format, you may have sync problems.
I've made DVD from RMVB, but I use quite different methods. -
Unfortunately, ConvertXtoDVD wil lnot let me import any external audio,if it does I am NOT aware of it.
I guess I am out of luck here, since I guess I will have to figure out anoter way to do this. BTW,Thanks for the help. -
Well, it's a roundabout way, but if you already have a VOB file set, look at:
https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/178132-How-to-replace-LPCM-by-AC3-before-shrinking-a-DVD
You can extract the AC3 audio from your VOBs, use Audacity to split and save the single track as a mono AC3, and replace it using this method.
For the record, I'd do it using Avisynth, with HCEnc (to make video M2V) Aften (for AC3 audio) and GfD to author the DVD.
I used an AVS to load the RMVB like this:
Code:DirectShowSource("Nanjing1.rmvb", fps=25, convertfps=true) EnsureVBRMP3sync() GetChannel(1) SSRC(48000,false) LanczosResize(720,576)
