  2. It's a SWF flash file but if you are using Firefox, try "tools/page Info/Media" scroll down the media list to the .gif file and click "save as".
    I have not tested this !!
    It's a very clever web page though!

    A simple right-click 'Save background as' will get it.

    It is a 500*500 gif which repeats itself to fill your desktop.

    The firefox method also works but again save the gif not the flash downloader.

  4. I suggested the Firefox method in case Snafubaby's browser had it's right click disabled, you are quite right in your method too though.
