  1. Hi - This is my first post!

I have a download of a DVD9 that the uploader split into two DVDs.

Somebody recommended this as a solution to converting back to DVD9 with DVDremakePro:

    One possible solution:

    - Open the first dvd (DISC1) with DvdReMakePro.

    - With the same program to open the second DVD (DISC2).

    - In [project1], ie, first dvd open, select Video Title Set 1/Program Chains. The display shows the menu Domaim Content ", moving the bar desplazareis you through the different chapters of the DVD (block). The last 17 are empty and must be replaced with the chapters of the second DVD.

    - You select the first chapter gaps with the right mouse button and pulsáis "Replace block ..." A screen "Select block", here select the "Data pools" where are the missing chapters in the first dvd (in my case is the Pool 10 (VTS 1 movie)), move the bar to find the first chapter and press OK.

    - Repeat with the remaining 16 chapters.

    - And finally export the dvd = File / Export dvd. Creating a fully functional DVD.

I hope I have been helpful.

Is there anyway to do this with free software? DVDremakePro was easy to use but the trial wouldn't let me save the output.

    Thanks and Seasons Greetings,

    Bing.

  2. Using the free DVDShrink: http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/46/59/
There are other ways, using different software but this works OK.
Just change the target size in the shrink "Preferences" to DVD-9 or you will end up with a DVD-5.

Curious, why did you post this in the Blu-Ray section?
