Hello, I have a Sony NT-CT 100 SOundbar. My Gateway computer has an HDMI out port. So I ran a HDMI cable from the computer directly to my flat screen. I can watch my DVD movies I said on my HDD on the TV but I do not enjoy the weak sound. I wanted the soundbar to prcess the audio.

So according to the instruction booklet (available at the link beloew). The cable from my computer I ran to the soundbar's HDMI input (BD IN), THen I ran another HDMI from the soundbar (TV out) to my flat screen (HDMI 1). I extended the display from the control panel. I selected a DVD file to play and dragged to the flat screen. THe picture shows up fine, but the soundbar is silent?? Can someone help me out?

If you willing to d/l the operating manual below that would be great. Pages 7-8 have the connection diagram. Thanks for your time.
