    I'm using Hauppauge 1212 to dump stuff from my DISH DVR to my comp and all is running smoothly. I'm concerned though that the provided USB is somewhat loose when connected and I feel issues could arise. They say not to use another but I don't buy that talk. Wouldn't this one work? I'm running 720p to capture. I'm just hoping that with a longer length of 16 ft that it wouldn't affect transfer.
