  1. Hi;

    Can I play MKV files with the Samsung BD-C6900? Is there a guide?

    Thanks.

    Check the manual for file restrictions. Let us know what it says.

    I noticed the Samsung BD-C5500C box had a "MKV HD" logo. I'm unfamiliar with how that is defined.

    MKV can literally hold any possible video and audio codec so we can only say that you can play some, most or perhaps even all of your MKV files depending on how they were made. The documentation with the player should state what is and is not supported inside an MKV container, assuming that your player does claim to support MKV files.
