Codecs for WMM | WMP | VirtualDub

alright in my process to get videos to be playd in windows movie maker (wmm) , i download various codecs and i duno if thats the reason its laggin my internet

so i think im going to unistall all the codecs i downloaded recently however im not sure which ones i need

i downloaded

k-lite codec pack basic

vistacodec v587

windows essential codec pack 3.2

ac3filter

divx

ffdshow

let me know which ones i can get rid of or ... i can unistall all and install the ones i need if someone can provide them that would work for WMP WMM and VirtualDub

I would start by installing just ffdshow. It will likely do everything you need and it's not a codec pack, so it doesn't have their problems. VirtualDub uses VFW codecs and WMM uses DirectShow codecs, so you need both from ffdshow.
