Currently, the screen displays the number of replies to a post.

Can the software be amended to display the number of views ?

Might indicate how much interest is taken in a post even though the replies may be minimal.

If you 'mouse over' the replies number, the views number shows. But I admit the extra column for views was a bit easier to use. Maybe just a problem of limited screen space on the forum page.

Well i have firefox 3.6.13 and the only time it shows the amount of views to a thread is when i have posted in them.

If i go into a specific forum it does not show how many views there have been in any thread by doing what redwudz said would show you the amount of times it was viewed.

You're right - when I view a specific forum I only see details for threads I've posted in, for example:
You have 1 post(s) in this thread, last 22st Dec 2010

I almost exclusively use the 'Today's Posts' link at the top of the page. From that page I can see 'Views: 67' when hovering on the post count.

I found out the 'mouse over' only seems to work on the results of the 'Today's Posts' search and doesn't work when you go to a individual forum. It must be related to the search. Since I spend most of my time in the 'Today's Posts' search, I hadn't noticed the problem.

EDIT: It seems to work on any search results. But no place else.

Using IE 8 gives me this screen when I "mouse over" the replies number (strange, the finger pointing hand did not copy)

I did a search and found this 4yr old thread. Instead of starting a new identical one, I figured I'd just ask here.

Has adding a views column been implemented that I cannot locate thru the forum settings? Mouse over does not work for me using Firefox 34.0.5

    Thanks

  11. A sort of workaround is sort by user posts. If I click on your posts for example (click the little magnifying glass icon below the avatar)

Thank you. I'm not sure how to sort by a user within a thread, but I went to View My at the top of the page, went to my posts, and it works. Thanks again.
