  1. for virtualdub it says : couldnt locate decompressor for format "mpeg" (unknown) . . . virtualdub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. direct show codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.

    i already have k-lite codec pack 666 basic d/l-ed but i think its only for windows media player

    i have VFW configuration and Video decoder configuration

    which do i hit ?

    i tried checking in both windows, but i cudnt find "mpeg in avi" :S

    in ffdshow video encoder configuration window...there is two tabs "encoder" and "decoder" i hit on "decoder" and i still dont see "mpeg in avi"
