    Hi,

recently I downloaded RipBot264 and I've been getting a couple errors and I think it may have to deal with Avisynth of ffdshow.
Well, I installed all Codecs up to date - I have a Windows XP OS and whenever I try and convert my video using RipBot264,

I get 2 different types of error and I can't tell which is which.

The same videos will get the same error.
I try and encode this AVI video which is 1.5 gigs (uncompressed) with audio and I get this error
    http://d.imagehost.org/0780/ripbothelp.png

Whenever I try and encode a clip without audio (4.6 gigs, uncompressed) I get this error
    http://b.imagehost.org/0558/ripbothelp2.png

Can anyone help? I wanna convert one of my videos to mkv unless someone else has another program that could do it.

    I've installed all codecs up-to-date.
For some reason I can't open my ffdshow video decoder, when I edit, only the Audio decoder shows up in the system tray but my video doesn't.

Can you play the avi with windows media player?

Or just convert with something that does not require any codecs like xmedia recode or handbrake.

If I install the necessary codec to be allow my Windows Media Player to play AVI, the Ripbot program would work right?

Well, I downloaded the K-Lite Codec Pack (Full) and it basically like uninstalled most of my codec and installed new ones, windows media player works fine

but after i download Avisynth and haali media splitter, some avi's on my computer won't run on windows media player.

And on RipBot264, whenever i try and encode a movie with sound, it just stays like demuxing... and like it won't finish,

The AVI im trying to use in Ripbot is around 1.5 gigs (uncompressed).

    what should I do?

Open the Ripbot264.ini file in the Ripbot folder and check the "DefaultOutputPath=X:/XXX".
