What are you trying to convert to? Do you have the DVDs to rerip if needed?

  4. Don't delete anything. You can check the A/V delay with PGCDemux; look in the folder you're saving the AVI to, there's a temp folder created by AutoGK. Find the file lastjob.vcf, open it with notepad and look for the "Set.Interleave" line (near the bottom), there are 3 numbers in brackets like (500,0,0). The first number is the audio delay and should match what PGCDemux told you (ignore a difference of 1). If you need to, change the value and save, then run VDubmod (there's no icon, look in the AutoGK folder and make your own shortcut), click File, Load Script and find Lastjob.vcf.

I have to do this every time I trim the beginning of an episode; I get a 16ms error in the audio. You can't avoid it if all the episodes are in the same VTS. Sucks 'cause you can't batch process that way. You can verify if there will be a problem without wasting all that time on a bad encode. Add each jobs twice in AutoGK and uncheck one, then hit start. Wait until Vdubmod starts and hit abort in AutoGK, don't delete the unchecked job. Check that the interleave value matches with PGCDemux, if it doesn't, delete the unchecked job in AutoGK (do not delete any files), you'll have to run VDubMod manually, later. Repeat this for all the episodes, one by one. If you have any unchecked jobs left in AutoGK, check mark them and hit start; at least you'll have those run in a batch.

I've never had that problem with the video playing too fast, all I can think of is you might have to fiddle with some of the settings in the hidden panel (CTRL-F9). Usually you never have to change anything there, except standalone compatibility and grayscale credits.

To simply things I want to give you few nice alternatives to your problem the synch issue makes me think there may be data corruption. Inport the video_ts file to handbrake and convert one of the episodes to mkv and see if the video still goes out of synch if it does I'll make a few suggestions. 1) place the dvd in the drive and try using makemkv to convert to mkv or 2)rerip the dvd to iso using dvddecrypter and then inport the file into fairusewizard and convert to xvid, or 3 inport the iso file into handbrake and convert to mkv.

You can safely ignore that supposed 16ms delay for 2 reasons:

    1. DVDDecrypter is wrong about the delay.
    2. And even if it wasn't wrong, no one can hear a wrong 16ms delay anyway.

Want to test what I said? Rather than demuxing the audio with DVD Decrypter, get the episode in a VOB onto your hard drive. Then demux using DGIndex and see if it mentions a delay.

And maxone71 isn't talking about a puny 16ms delay anyway. But since he didn't say how he demuxed or otherwise prepared the episodes for AutoGK, one can't really be sure what his problem is. He should be putting the separate episodes onto the hard drive rather than the entire DVD, but I don't know if he's doing that or not.

Max, either one of the vob files was damaged, or contained rubbish data.
