Hey guys. I've got a couple videos that I will be burning to a disc for my friend. The problem is that they open in the wrong aspect ratio. I've tried VLC, Media player classic, and Windows media player. All have the same problem.
You can however manually change the aspect ratio to 2.35:1 in vlc and mpc and the videos play as they should, but I would like a more permanent solution as my friend might not understand or remember how to change the AR every time.
The videos open with the top and bottom stretched upwards and downward which make the image blurry and distorted looking. There is a small info file with them, here is the info about the video:
VIDEO
Resolution: 544x320
Aspect Ratio: 1.70:1 Anamorphic widescreen (2.35:1)
Bitrate: 755 kbps
Frame Quality: 0.174 bits/pixel
FPS: 25.000 PAL
They are xvid encoded avi's.
