    I have a 1920 x 1080i mpeg-2 file that i want to demux. What are the steps to do this and what software can i use? I have not done this before so any help would be appreciated.

    I would recommend using the trial version of Womble Mpeg2VCR to demux the file.

    Or, if really MPEG-2, a freeware solution is DGIndex. Open the file and go File->Save Project and Demux Video.
