The last pack I bought of Verbatim few months ago is CMC MAG. AM3.10 bad CD's so far. Buy Taiyo Yuden it's the last good company left

Buying Verbatim these days you need to check the label and look for the AZO designation. The CMC made "Life Series" from Verbatim are ones to avoid.

I'm guessing you bought the "Life" series which we've talked about quite a bit around here as being inferior. I long ago stopped buying Verbatim in stores and only mail order them because that way I can be absolutely 100% sure I am getting exactly what I want. I buy the DataLifePlus Verbatim discs all the time and their single layer ones are still good old MCC Made in Taiwan discs.

Those were the only CMC MAG Verbatims i have personally found.
