Hello,
I'm looking into software to edit MP4 (H.264) 1080p files that come out of the Samsung WB2000 compact cam. I'm seeking both a simple and light software for quick and dirty cut-and-paste edits and fades, as well as a more comprehensive solution with noise reduction, color correction, etc...
I would really love any input, as I don't know where to start. I'm not at all new to digital video editing, just I was doing it at the time of MJPG technology, and that was 12 yrs ago!

Thank you budwzr, actually I was eyeing VMS10.
Which do you think is the less resource intensive between VMS10 and Premiere CS5? And which the one with the easiest learning curve? -
Vegas is the most straightforward and logical. Or "intuitive".
I myself use Vegas, and it's a very robust software. AFA Premiere, I started out with Elements a few years back and it was bloated and crashed a lot, don't know if it's any better now.
Just try Vegas, it'll run on just about any computer, you'll like it.
