    Hi there.

I recorded some shows on my sattelite receiver and would like to cut the commercials out. Also adding fade in and out, with smart rendering, like Videoredo and Womble can do with MPEGs.
Is there any program that will allow me to do that?
I found some softwares to cut the videos. Some worked, some didn't. But none of them gave me the option to add fades and frame accurate cutting (with smart redering).

The file specs are as follow.

I tried to find people doing that on the same file type I'm trying, but couldn't find anything relevant.

    Any help would be great.
    Thanx.

Well, the file above can't be loaded on Premiere. It keeps reading the hard drive and stops responding.
If I open the file on TSSniper and save it again, without doing anything, the file comes out smaller and Premiere opens it normally.
I see the audio bitrate comes out as 256, instead of 384. Any idea why?

    Just to add more info...

I used FameRing Smart Cutter to frame accurate cut the file. It works well. Puts a BIG LOGO on the screen, but works well. And the new file opens ok on Premiere and keeps the bitrates as the source file.
    Go figure...

Another question (if anyone is reading this thread ): can I use this AVC file to author a blu-ray disc without reencodind? Is it the right spec?
