    Hi

    I have recently reinstalled win7 (2 days ago)
    I connected my external hdd to the pc and now all my documents (word) are read only and I don't know why and how to change this thing...

    Any advice?

    Select the folder and right click on it and deselect readonly? Be sure to have admin rights.

    And Windows will ask you whether you want the operation to effect all documents within the folder as well as the folder itself.
