I've installed k-lite codec pack (both 32 and 64 bit) but when i use virtualdub i can't find, for example, the divx codec, why?
Which one virtualdub use? 32 or 64 bit? and how should i configure the ffdshow?
thanks

32 bit VirtualDub uses 32 bit codecs. 64 bit VirtualDub uses 64 bit codecs. Both only use VFW codecs, not DirectShow codecs (the latter are used by most media players).

K-Lite installs a "Codec Tweak Tool" which you should find on your Start Menu in the group created by K-Lite. There you can activate or deactivate your codecs.
Just ignore him. He only has one thing to say: "Uninstall K-Lite", which he will repeat at intervals in every thread where it is mentioned. -
i already configure the VfW settings of ffdshow and, for example, there si "libavcodec" in the "divx" codec, but the codec miss in virtualdub

You select "ffdshow Video Codec" in VirtualDub. Then press the Configure button to select which of ffdshow's codecs to use.
