Menu doesnt work in uploaded video

I want to upload a DVD made by a friend to a web site where I can share the video with other family members over the web. The DVD was made with an Apple movie maker software (however, Windows Movie Maker does the same thing) with a title screen that includes a play menu. Somehow the link between the title screen menu and the main video file gets broken in the uploading process. I can play the title video but the menu doesn't work. I can separately play the main video without the menu. I'm trying to get th eonline video to play just like it does in the DVD player. Is this possible?

Where do you upload it? What do you upload?

You must make a custom flash player if you want a menu on an online site.

Then don't worry about a menu and just upload the video.
