  1. Hi folks.

Without going into details, I have an MPEG file that is in 4:3 aspect ratio. I need to stretch it horizontally, into 16:9 aspect ratio.

Is there a tool that can do this for me?

    Thanks!

  2. Is the actual content 16:9 (ie. has it been flagged incorrectly as 4:3, and things look "squished") ?

Or are you trying to do a conversion of content from 4:3 to 16:9 ?

If only trying to change the flag, restream or dvd patcher

The content is labeled as 16x9, but there are black bars on each side, as though it is 4:3 video. Additionally, the image is squished.

So, I don't believe changing the flag will help; I actually need to stretch the image horizontally.
