Some Internet sites sell what they say are OEM versions of, say Adobe software which are considerably cheaper than pricing recommended by Adobe. One such site is http://oem-estore.com/shop/byvendor/adobe/
It seems too good to be true. Maybe it's really awesomely cheap. But how do I know I'm not buying pirated stuff? If I buy these, can I expect support from Adobe? Is this anything like the OEM versions of Windows that should come with a hardware?
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".

OEM software usually assumes support from the company supplying it and not by Adobe. It may or may not qualify for an upgrade.

In Adobe's case, they are very particular about user activation and a clear license even for very old software.
