    I'd love a simple guide on how to apply external subs using convertxtodvd. i have try everything, i just don't know how. I have a few downloaded movies with external subs(meaning two files, the avi movie file and the sub file) Thanks boys.

    Every AVI i have ever loaded into convertxtodvd and had external subs, as long as the sub files are in the SAME folder as the AVI and as long as they are named EXACTLY the same as the AVI, the subs are loaded automatically from just dropping the AVI into the program.

    TEST.avi
    TEST.idx
    TEST.sub

    Or

    TEST.avi
    TEST.srt

    Your not going to find any more of a simple guide than that.

    Just drag the subs in like you drag in the avi!
    I tried that after renaming the subtitle file a different name than the AVI file and it did not work.

    And if they are named the same, as they should be, even for playback on a PC software player, you would not need to drag and drop them into Convertx2dvd as they will be automatically loaded as long as they are in the same folder.
