DVDX question

I was doing a SVCD from a DVD thru DVDX and TMPGenc using 2-pass VBR...I selected 30 mins of the movie only to test the quality...Hence after that finished I wanted to convert the rest of the movie...

How do I make selections so that I can convert the rest of the movie...Because in DVDX (with external encoding) if I just select say a chapter in "volume don't exceed" then it takes those no. of frames and encodes from beginning to that no. of frames.

I'm still new to all this, so if this doesn't work, forgive me. I think if you move the slider bar along on DVDx so you can see the movie, I think it starts encoding from where you leave it.
