    Hi All,
    I now think its time that I upgrade from my core 2 duo pc as I need to convert Blu-ray.
    what Im after is some real world data Ive looked on Toms Hardware and it looks like I need an i7 is this the case ?
    What CPU you have and how long its taking to covert to a Blu ray down to around the 10GB size .

    An i7 would certainly work, but an AMD Thuban can do quite well too, for less money.

    I have neither a Thuban nor an i7. Blu-Ray is not a concern for me a present.
