I have a series of MKV files, that have two audio tracks and subtitles in the file. What I am looking to do is create one large file, cutting out the intro and credits of all the episodes (except the first and last one) and joint hem into one large file. Later, I plan on breaking that file up, if needed, to fit onto some DV9s.

I cannot find an easy path to do this and I just know I'll screw it up somewhere. Is there an easy cut-n-paste kind of editing program I can use that won't ruin the syncing and subtitles??? The only real info and guides I can find, invovle pulling aparts the MKV to the video, two audio tracks and subtitles file(s).

    Anyone have any ideas?

MKV was not, is not, and probably never will be, an edit friendly format. It is designed for playback. None of the pro editors support it or are likely to. You could look at mkvtoolnix and the associated GUIs to see what they offer, or perhaps AVI Demux. Trimming off parts will probably be OK, but joining without sync issues will be another matter.
