  1. Hello
A few days ago they transmitted live the Smashing Pumpkins gig! Luckily, it's still available, and in HD. How can I record it? One of the guys did it, but the file is huge and he can't compress it... Oh, and he recorded in SD.
I've been to the Video Stream Recording Tools page, and apparently the best rated software is StreamTransport: 13 votes, average grade of 8.8. But see so many people saying beautiful things about Download Helper... So, does anybody have a suggestion?

If you're willing to give me very specific tips or if you love Smashing Pumpkins, the video is here: http://terratv.terra.com.br/videos/Diversao/Musica/Planeta-Terra/Planeta-Terra-2010/So...veja-em-HD.htm
It's divided in songs and may have some short ads in between...

Thank you very much in advance.

  2. Yaay Pumpkins fans!
I used StreamTransport and it worked like a charm! I had to start each song, so the program would see that specific file. They are all .mp4 and the program strangely saved them as .flv...

EDIT: I was able to play it on Windows Media Player, so I think .flv is only in the file name. I think it's really .mp4
