I'd like to rip my copy of ALICE so that my daughter can watch it on the portable DVD player in the car. However, using ANYDVD and DVD Decrypter, I am getting 60GB worth of VOB files. What am I doing wrong? It appears to be copies and copies of the actual movie VOBs they are all 0.99gb with the last one in each sequence being 824mb. Is this a copy protection thing? Is there any way around this so that it doesn't take 3 hours to rip the movie proper? Do I just need to skip all the extra files with VOB Blanker before I run it thru DVD Shrink? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The latest versions of either of those programs should easily handle this movie as it has been out for quite some time. Here's a general tip when you run into multiple identical titles: Play the DVD in a standalone or software player and tun on the on screen display. Write down the title number displayed and select that one to rip in DVDFab.
