just purchased the pioneer 103 dvd recorder and am wondering if it's the same as the a03? i actually thought i was buying the a03 from the website that i ordered from, but when i rechecked my purchase after i got my shipping receipt... i realized that it was the 103. so i quickly did some research, and it seems to be the same drive. from what i've read, or can gather... the 103 is what they put into the imac computers. anyways, any info and help on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

  2. I bought an A03. All of my software recognizes it as a 103. It even shows up in the device manager as a 103.

it burns 2x DVD-R on supported media,
    1x dvd-rw,
    8x CD-R,
    and 4x CD-RW.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same drive, but they just called the retail version the A03.
