Please help. I am looking for a media player that can be controlled via LAN or WAN. I want to be able to 'control' (push play, stop, full screen, etc) my media player from my computer. I am a network administrator managing multiple sites. Each site has has a media player that plays our video (on repeat). I want to be able to remote desktop into a computer that the media player is on and hit play or stop on the device. Can anyone recommend a unit that can do this? We've tried WDTV. It does not have this feature.

I too have been looking for something like this. An issue along with this would also mean how the video would be downloaded to the each PC, so that there's no 'microsoft loading circling'. Plus codec issues too.
