Okay I have been having problems converting from .avi to mpeg and getting a compliant vcd!
I learned that seperating the sound then converting worked better for me but I was left with a wave audio file that I can't multiplex together with the mpeg file I created!!
DO I need to convert the wave file to a mp3 of something??
PLS HELP!!!!
THANX!

You need to convert your wave file to an MPEG1 layer2 audio stream to combine it with your video. To be compliant use a 224 kbps bitrate. TMPGENC can do this or xing encoder as well.
