Hello,
I just got a Boxee Box and am preparing to rip my DVDs to my external drive to watch on my HD plasma TV.
I'm looking for advice on what's the best way to rip them. I have many episodes that I want to have multiple audio tracks and most of the files I don't need them in archival format, just nice enough that they look good on the the TV.
I appreciate the help, as I have LOTS of ripping to do and don't want to go through them all only to find that I picked the wrong format and have to re-rip them again.
Most of them I will rip individual files rather than a working DVD backup with menus and the like...
Thanks, looking forward to hearing from those who know!

I would rip to dvd isos. Shrinking will take too much time.
And be sure to search and visit http://forums.boxee.tv/ -
h.264+AC3 in MKV will give you very high quality at 1/3 the size. It will take a long time though.
