    I have a Protron DVD player model PD-007 in progressive mode, how do I reset it, can't see the menu on screen.

    I've never heard of that company. That's probably bad news for you. Most likely it means that it's going to be almost impossible to get good information on the player.

    If you have the docs that came with the player it might tell how to reset the player to some kind of default mode, assuming such is possible. Or you could try a search and try to find some sort of Tech Support at the company and ask for help, but this also assumes that there is some kind of easy way to reset the player. Or you could find a friend with an HDTV and hook up the player to that and reset it once you have made the connection.
