how do i convert?

how do i convert a avi panorama view movie into vcd? i hear u gotta convert it ot mpg first but that would make it to big wouldnt it? i tried using nero for the avi but it removed panoaram and screwed up the picture quality

Try this step by step tutorial..... i believe you wont be able to keep the panoramic view of it. But this will convert it from AVI to MPG and then burn it onto disk with Nero or some burning software.
