  1. Hi I'm using avanti to convert and crop my .ts files recorded from a HD PVR. I should mention the original .ts is in 4:3 but I stretched it to 16:9 because my pvr is bad and is incapable of capturing in 16:9 properly. I get the following error message when attemtping to process:

    FFmpeg messages/warnings:

  2. I managed to fix the above problem, I think, but now I've encountered another when cropping out black bars. The following picture is the output from stretching the input to 16:9 and cropping out black borders. Any ideas how to remove the green bars now? ThanksClick image for larger version

  3. possibly a non mod-16 resolution issue

make sure your dimensions are divisible by 16 , because some decoders have issues otherwise . Either crop or resize

ffmpeg doesn't handle transport streams very well natively ; you could use avisynth and ffmpeg or another tool
