Total Newb/ probs with bluray files.

HI! well im a total newb in every sense of the word when it comes to using computers to play videos and stuff.

Ive got a couple movies on my computer that whenever i try to play them in VLC or Medi player classic the video seems to play really fast for the first 2 or 3 seconds and then the audio is totally out of sync with the movie normally my bf would be able to fix this for me but he is out of town working for the next 3 weeks and i have no idea what to do.

SOOOoooo im asking for help from all you great ppl! Im really sorry in advance if this has been covered before but im really no good with computers at all let alone tech forums like this

So if anyone can help id LOVE IT!!! and if anyone needs more info about my computer or what im trying to watch just ask and ill do my best to provide and answer!! THANKS!!!!!!

OMG! lol i didnt even post my question im such a dork Well the audio goes out of sync whenever i try to watch them and was wondering if its an easy fix or if the original uploader of the file messed up?

What were the names of these movies and how did you acquire them?
