    I've tried searching and searching, but all I can find are just some x-number of converters that are troublesome to operate. So I am still trying to find answer for my "worries"...

    So, my question is simple: What's the best way for me to convert a HD-produced/made (720p) .m2ts file/video TO a HD .mp4 file (720p)? What sort of programs will help me with this? I made a video/compilation with Cyberlink PowerDirector8, but it doesn't allow me to get .mp4 for output in HD-format, just H.264 (.m2ts) format....

    Any details I need to post, perhaps?
