Resizing screen output

Hi, I have an avi file which, when I open it in the KMPlayer, covers only part of the screen - there are two-inch black bars on every side of the picture. Now, this is easy to correct in the KMPlayer but I would like to convert this avi to DVD and wonder how it will look then. I don't have a DVD so I can't try it and see.
What should I do? Below is the Media Info output from the KMPlayer.

Just crop it when you convert to dvd format. Use for example avstodvd(free) or convertxtodvd.
