Help :Editing mpeg2

Hello, I have two video's whuch are:
General Format : MPEG-PS File size : 5.74 GiB VideoID : 224 (0xE0) Format : MPEG Video
Format version : Version 2 Audio Format : AC-3 Format/Info : Audio Coding 3

and i wish to edit one to to resynch te audio and video but no program will open it correctly avidemux shows it jumping and flickering and the end result happns to flacker as well i tried cuttermaran but it only uses elementary streams m2v etc. Does anyone know a good program for this ?

Okay i resynched audio -50000ms in xvid4psp , one more question is there and alternative decoder in avidemux because every mpeg2 / dvd file open's indexes and play's shitty

AVI Demux isn't a player, so the playback quality should not be taken as representative of the final video.

Personally, I use Womble Mpeg Video Wizard for mpeg-2 editing because I couldn't find a freeware alternative that was as reliable and as simple to use.

gunsl1nger, yeah it's an editing tool though i don't think it's mpeg standards are uptodate as other programs as avidemux looks like it's working the same as xvid4psp but when it shows the video it's all jumpy and flickers and the output even if i copy anduse the same container it's flickeres also so i don't think it decodes it properly

@Off topic : i've resynched it but now i wan't to join them all together and author but GUIfordvdauthor and dvd authorGUI only except the m2v streams seperatly how can i do this either reauthor all together or encode all together as an AVI?

The DVD authoring programs you listed also require the de-multiplexed audio and video to be DVD compliant. Have you verified that they are? Use MediaInfo on the files and look at "WHAT IS DVD" found on the left side of VideoHelps pages if you are unsure.

You might try authoring with AVStoDVD instead if they are not DVD compliant. It can also convert the video and audio to be DVD compliant and export as separate files if you prefer using GUIfordvdauthor or dvd authorGUI to author instead.
