I've been searching for a solution for the last 2 weeks and beginning to think that surely i'm not the only person that wants to do this. I want to reencode my wtv to mp4 and keep the metadata in a format that wmp can understand. Yes I can add the metadata using atomicparsley but this of course is standard itunes meta data that doesn;t show up in wmp. There are common elements like the Title but the description is not visible in wmp as the metadata tag for that is windows specific with wm/subtitle as the tag.
I've searched and really can only find reference to making my own program using the wmp sdk to do this...but surely i'm not the first person in the world that wants to add the windows media file metadata to files....surely there is something that exists on a command line basis that can be used in a script??
