  1. Hello,

    We are a private investigation agency and have in the past used mini-DV camcorders for our surveillance evidence. What we used to do was to download the video into our Mac Computer into iMovie, then export to CATdv program where we could burn in the Case name and time/date stamp then reimport back to iMovie, edit, then burn DVD in iDVD for clients.

    Currently the problem is now the investigators have the new camcorders which are HDD and Not Mini-DV and we can not figure out how to preserve the time/date stamp.

    We are Mac users.

    Tell them to use DV cams unless the courts have ruled AVCHD evidence is acceptable.
