    Hi there,

I'm editing a video with premiere and found this issue while exporting the media: in a previous exported file everything looked fine, no problems at all. Then I *** messed around with the frame rate ***

Problem is, the video is slightly out of focus. This only happens during motion

*** SEE WHY IN THE END OF THE THREAD ***

Ok I fixed it by just cutting the clip in two pieces, then I applied the effect on the initial part only.

if anyone still wants to explain me why that happened, I'm here listening

Oops the problem it's still there. In the preview it doesn't appear anymore, but once i finished encoding I loaded the avs of the avi file and looked at it frame by frame: it's still there!!!
What did I do? I must have messed up with something...

  4. I suspect you have interlaced video and are handling it as progressive. Post some sample clips?

    Ok, I messed it up.

The video as Adobe recognizes it is progressive 1280x544 23,975 pixel ar (0,755)
When I imported it i changed the pixels aspect ratio to 1.0, I put in the right resolution (544p), i made sure it was progressive BUT...

I didn't pay attention to the frame rate. Adobe recognized it as 23,975 fps and since I didn't change it the slight difference between the sequence format and the video's one caused the problem.
I changed it to 23,976, Adobe would yet (for some reason) set it as 23,98, nevertheless it works perfectly!

I changed the thread title, maybe this could be useful in the future for someone else as noob as me.
