    Hello,

I am looking for a highly rated wireless N usb adapter. There are so many to choose from. I won't be doing any kind of video transfer just need it for good range Internet connection. Do you have any recommendations? The pc will be about 50 feet from the router on the same floor between two walls. Here are a couple I am looking at. Want them to last. What is the difference between 150Mbps & 300Mbps? Will I see a difference in Internet speed with 300Mbps? What does Mbps stand for?

those numbers u were referring to are just transfer speeds...you'll nvr see em unless u have a super high speed fiber connection and are close to the router/wireless your getting the connection from

If you are on Win7, verify that the adapters work under Win7.
The ones from Amazon don't say that they are Win7 compatable.

When Win7 first came out, my 4 USB adapters they did not work on Win7.
I didn't believe it, and finally Microsoft told me over the phone that it was so.
