Welll, i am an "gggg-gibbering idiot.." for about 6-7 years, and i do a lot of video capturing, converting, editing... etc all the time, and I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM while being an idiot.
So i realy dont understand why all of you are against k-lite!?! -
I know about those "41 pages", it's just that the "..gggg-gibbering idiot..." made me laugh, and i wanted to say that i never had problems with it.
Maybe 90% of those "41 pages" are user-error's, or maybe i'm just lucky

Occasionally someone will live to 100 years old or more and will have smoked all of their adult life. Based on that, however, no-one in their right mind would recommend you take up smoking. Some people get lucky, but most do not.
@rocketman122 - the alternative to k-lite depends on what you need. In most cases, all you need for playback is a good player like The KM Player, which comes with all the most common - and many uncommon - codecs built in. If you are converting then you should use Mediainfo to determine which codec you need, and install that codec. Or use FFDShow.Read my blog here.
